In some respects I actually like it, because people I used to talk to have found me and asked "are you AKADriver from _?" and it starts an interesting conversation. I simply don't assume that this name has any anonymity and act accordingly, including just not posting pictures of my house or cars or what have you in an easily indexed medium like a reddit post.
